  2. Traditional Leaders · Custodian

Custodianship of land, community mobilisation and local legitimacy.

  3. Business · Investor

Markets, investment, technical expertise and employment.

  4. Communities · Owner

Local knowledge, labour, enterprise and ownership of development outcomes.

Track record

From accredited training to market access

In 2023 AgriSETA awarded KZN CRD a R5 million partnership grant to train 500 smallholder farmers in southern KwaZulu-Natal, in communities under the custodianship of traditional leaders.

Every beneficiary received company registration, supply chain support, market access and an AgriSETA-accredited qualification.
